United States Air Force MQ-9 Reaper Damaged

A second MQ-9 Reaper was damaged on the ground at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait during the Iranian ballistic missile attack of 29 May 2026 that destroyed a first Reaper outright. The damage was assessed as repairable and the airframe was not written off. Five US soldiers and contractors were wounded in the attack, which formed part of a sustained Iranian effort against US installations across Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
