French Army NH90 (TTH) Delivered

Airbus Helicopters handed the first production NH90 Standard 2 to the French armament directorate DGA on 30 July 2026, and the aircraft was delivered the same day to the 4th Special Forces Helicopter Regiment at Pau. It is the first NH90 TTH configured specifically for special operations, fitted with a Safran Euroflir 410D electro-optical turret, the Eurofl'eye distributed panoramic vision system, a new digital map generator, provision for a third crew member and enlarged rear sliding windows able to take self-protection guns. France has ordered 18 Standard 2 machines through the NATO Helicopter Management Agency, with deliveries running to spring 2029.
