Description
An MH-60 Black Hawk assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) suffered an aviation mishap on 25 August 2026 on the east side of Thorodin Mountain, near Golden Gate Canyon State Park west of Denver, Colorado, during what the Army described as routine training. Four soldiers were aboard; none was injured. All three main rotor blades sustained significant damage, but no fuel leak or fire resulted. U.S. Army Special Operations Command confirmed the incident and opened a safety investigation; the cause has not been released.
