Philippine Air Force Bell 212/412 Delivered

The Philippine Air Force formally accepted two Bell 412EPX utility helicopters at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on 15 September, the second pair delivered under the Additional Utility Helicopter Project, an eight-aircraft contract with Bell Textron; the first two arrived in May 2026. The acceptance ceremony was organised by the service Systems Engineering and Modernization Office and led by the Air Force commanding general, who told personnel the helicopters must be maintained and employed with professionalism and accountability. The type will fly air mobility, rapid deployment and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions, tasks the service leans on heavily through the typhoon season.
