Republic of Korea Air Force KF-21 Delivered

The Republic of Korea Air Force received its first production KF-21 Boramae on 22 September 2026, the Korea Herald reported. The aircraft, production number 001, was flown from Korea Aerospace Industries' plant in Sacheon to Yecheon Air Base, home of the 16th Fighter Wing, where it joins the 156th Fighter Squadron, escorted on arrival by an FA-50, a TA-50 and a T-50. KAI is to build an initial 40 aircraft for delivery by 2028 and a further 80 by 2032, and FlightGlobal reported that the delivery sets the stage for formal service entry in late 2026.
