Argentinian Army Bell 407GXi Delivered

The Argentine Army's third Bell 407GXi, AE-342, arrived disassembled aboard a cargo aircraft at Ezeiza International Airport on 9 September 2026, Infodefensa reported, and awaits assembly and certification. It completes the Army's share of a joint purchase by the Joint General Staff of six helicopters, three for the Army and three for the Air Force. The first two Army aircraft, AE-340 and AE-341, were ferried to Argentina in April 2025. The Army's 407GXi fleet will be flown by the mountain aviation sections based in Neuquén and Mendoza.
