Polish Air Force F-35A Delivered

The ninth F-35A Lightning II Husarz for the Polish Air Force landed at the 32nd Tactical Air Base at Łask on 1 October 2026, as announced by the Minister of National Defence. Registered 3517, it is the first Polish aircraft from the Final Assembly and Check-Out facility at Cameri, Italy, operated by Leonardo, where it made its first flight on 22 July 2026. The first sixteen Polish jets were assembled at Fort Worth, Texas, and the remaining sixteen of the 32 ordered in January 2020 are being built in Italy. It joins the eight aircraft delivered in May and August; Poland expects fourteen F-35s on home soil by the end of 2026.
