Royal Air Force E-7A Wedgetail Delivered

The second of the Royal Air Force's three E-7 Wedgetail airborne early warning and control aircraft, WT002, arrived at RAF Lossiemouth in Moray, the RAF announced on 8 October 2026. The aircraft completed its initial trials at MOD Boscombe Down and joins WT001, based at Lossiemouth since May, for further ground and flight evaluation. According to the RAF, having two aircraft at the base should speed up testing; formal delivery and entry into operational service depend on the trials being completed.
