A Colombian Army UH-60 Black Hawk came down on the afternoon of 19 October 2026 in the Páramo de Las Delicias area of Inzá municipality, Cauca department, minutes after leaving an Army position on the return leg of a resupply and troop-rotation flight to Popayán, El País (Cali) and El Tiempo reported. The Army said all 19 people on board, four crew members and 15 soldiers, survived; four soldiers suffered fractures and the others bruises, and the injured were taken to hospitals in Popayán and Cali, the Colombian Aerospace Force sending two King Air 350 air ambulances. A loss of lift forcing an emergency landing is the main line of inquiry, according to El País; the Army has given no cause and has not said how badly the helicopter was damaged.
