Concón Naval Air Base (Viña del Mar Airport (Torquemada, historically 'El Belloto'))

Concón Naval Air Base, also known as Viña del Mar Airport and Torquemada Aerodrome, is located in Greater Valparaíso, Chile, 4 kilometres east of the coastal commune of Concón on Torquemada Hill. Inaugurated in 1987 as Viña del Mar Naval Air Base and Airport, the facility was renamed Concón Naval Air Base and Airport in 2015. It is also historically referenced as Base Aeronaval El Belloto.

Operated by the Chilean Naval Aviation, the facility serves as a military air base with joint civil usage. Resident units include the Escuadrilla de Helicópteros de Empleo General (HU-1) operating general-purpose helicopters, the Escuadrilla de Exploración Aeromarítima (VP-1) conducting maritime air exploration, and the Escuadrilla de Empleo General (VC-1). The base also hosts the Escuadrilla de Helicópteros de Ataque (HA-1) for attack helicopter operations and the Escuadrilla de Instrucción (VT-1) for flight training.

Infrastructure at the installation includes a small civilian passenger terminal. The base also houses the Centro de Reparaciones de la Aviación Naval (CRAN), which functions as the Naval Aviation Repair Center.
