Description
Jilin Ertaizi Airport is a military airport located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, China. It previously served commercial flights until October 3, 2005, when all civilian operations were transferred to Changchun Longjia International Airport. Although commercial operations ceased, the airport remains a military facility. In 2016, plans were announced for the renovation and future reopening of the airport for civil aviation, which will include a new terminal, a repaired runway, a new taxiway, and an extension of Changchun Rail Transit Line 1 to serve the airport. The airport has one concrete runway.
