Description
Honghe Mengzi Airport is an under-construction dual-use military and civil facility located in Mengzi City, Yunnan province, near the border with Vietnam. The airport is intended to replace the existing Mengzi Air Base.
The project was approved by the State Council and the Central Military Commission on October 9, 2012. Construction on the dual-use airport began in November 2020.
