Description
Sarsawa Air Force Station is an air base located approximately 12 km from Saharanpur City, Uttar Pradesh, India, and 17 km from Yamunanagar, Haryana, India. It belongs to the Western Air Command and is operated by the Indian Air Force. While primarily a military facility, it also handles civilian flights for VIP transport to Yamunanagar and Saharanpur. The air force station serves as the headquarters for the Special Group. Reports indicate that the air base is undergoing an upgrade to facilitate the joint deployment of MQ-9B drones by the Indian Army and Indian Air Force.
