Description

The DSR-Precision DSR-50 is a bolt-action anti-materiel rifle developed and manufactured by DSR-Precision GmbH. It is based on the company's earlier DSR-1 model and is an upscaled version chambered in .50 BMG.

This rifle is a bullpup bolt-action design chambered for the .50 BMG cartridge. It incorporates modifications from the DSR-1 platform to handle the .50 BMG, including a hydraulic recoil buffer in the buttstock and a blast compensator that functions as a combination sound suppressor and muzzle brake intended to moderate muzzle blast and recoil. The bullpup configuration maintains a long barrel while achieving a shorter overall length and shifts balance towards the buttstock. Features carried over from the DSR-1 include a top-mounted bipod, a "butt spike" monopod, a free-floating barrel, fully adjustable cheekrest and buttstock, and a forward magazine holder.
