Jask Naval Base (Bandar-e Jask)

Jask lies on the Gulf of Oman, east of the Strait of Hormuz, which allows ships to reach open water without passing through the strait. The naval base opened on 28 October 2008 and became the operational seat of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy's 2nd Naval Region after that command's forces moved from Bushehr. The site also carries an oil export terminal developed to give Iran a loading point outside the strait. Its coastal batteries were struck in the 2026 campaign.
