Description
The landing ship KRI Teluk Hading (538) was decommissioned at Makassar on 31 October 2024, after being badly damaged by a fire off the Selayar Islands, South Sulawesi, in June 2023, Naval News reported. Built for the East German Volksmarine as the Frosch-class Cottbus, she was commissioned into the Indonesian Navy in July 1994. Her hull was sunk as a target by an Exocet MM40 Block 3 missile fired from the frigate KRI I Gusti Ngurah Rai in the Java Sea on 23 April 2026, according to the same outlet.
