Description
The second Reis-class (Type 214TN) submarine, TCG Hızır Reis (S-331), was handed over to the Turkish Navy at Gölcük Naval Shipyard on 27 November 2025, Naval News reported. Designed by ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems and built under licence by the state-owned Gölcük yard, the class uses fuel-cell air-independent propulsion. Six boats are contracted, with the whole class due in service by 2028, according to the same report.
