Russia Navy Rubin-class Destroyed

Two Rubin-class (Project 22460) patrol boats were reported destroyed by Ukrainian drones near Inkerman in Crimea on 21 February 2026. The individual vessels were not identified. The Project 22460 design is a 630-tonne, 62-metre patrol ship built primarily for the Coast Guard of the Border Service of the FSB rather than the Russian Navy proper, equipped with a helicopter deck and hangar for a Ka-226 and typically armed with a 30 mm gun. The class has been repeatedly targeted in Ukrainian strikes on Crimean naval infrastructure since 2023.
