Italy Navy Domenico Millelire Delivered

Fincantieri delivered the multipurpose offshore patrol ship Domenico Millelire (P 436) to the Italian Navy at its Muggiano yard near La Spezia on 24 September 2026, the company announced. She is the seventh Thaon di Revel-class ship (PPA) built under the fleet-renewal programme managed by the European procurement agency OCCAR, and was launched at Riva Trigoso in July 2024 as the second unit in the fully armed 'Full' configuration, according to Naval News. The 143-metre ships exceed 31 knots, carry a crew of 171 and can be fitted either for patrol and self-defence or as front-line combatants.
