Indonesian Air Force C-130J Delivered

Indonesia's second C-130J-30 Super Hercules arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta after a ferry flight from the Lockheed Martin plant at Marietta, Georgia, routed across the Pacific with stops in Hawaii, the Marshall Islands and Guam. The aircraft, serialled A-1340, was the second of five ordered by the Defence Ministry and joined Air Squadron 31 alongside the first machine delivered in March. The stretched C-130J-30 gives the Indonesian Air Force a modern successor to its long-serving C-130B and H transports, which carry logistics, paratroop and disaster-relief tasks across the archipelago.
