Indonesian Air Force C-130J Delivered

Indonesia's third C-130J-30 Super Hercules, serialled A-1343, arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base after its ferry flight from the United States. The Defence Ministry identified it as the third of five aircraft ordered, following deliveries in March and June of the same year, and the transport joined Air Squadron 31 alongside its sister machines. The stretched C-130J-30 carries a heavier load further and faster than the C-130B and H models it supplements, and the fleet underpins Indonesian airlift for logistics, paratroop delivery and the disaster-relief missions the archipelago's geography demands.
