Kuwait Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon Delivered

The Kuwait Air Force took delivery of four more Eurofighter Typhoons at Ali Al Salem Air Base, raising the number in the country to thirteen of the twenty-eight ordered. The aircraft come from the contract signed with Leonardo as prime contractor in 2016, worth about 8.7 billion dollars and covering 22 single-seat and six two-seat aircraft plus pilot and technician training; deliveries began in December 2021. Kuwait planned to have the remaining fifteen aircraft in service by the end of 2024. The Typhoon serves alongside the emirate's F/A-18 Hornets, which are being replaced by the Super Hornet.
