Indonesian Air Force SA330 Retired

The Indonesian Air Force withdrew its last SA330 Puma helicopters from service on 29 December 2023 at Atang Sendjaja Air Force Base in Bogor, Scramble reported. The type had been the service's main medium transport helicopter since 1978, many of them assembled locally by IPTN, now PT Dirgantara Indonesia. Around five Pumas survived at the end, of which two were still flying with the 8th Air Squadron. They were replaced by H225M Caracals delivered by PTDI.
