United States Navy S-70/MH-60R/S Damaged

A United States Navy MH-60R entered San Diego Bay during search-and-rescue training near Naval Air Station North Island. The Navy said all six people aboard survived and were taken ashore. The helicopter was recovered from the water. Naval Safety Command later listed the occurrence as a Class A mishap, while the reviewed reporting did not say that the airframe was written off.
