Indonesian Air Force Mirage 2000-5 Cancelled

Indonesia confirmed that it had abandoned a planned purchase of 12 used Mirage 2000-5 fighters from Qatar after delaying the programme because of fiscal constraints. The interim acquisition had been intended to cover a capability gap while the Indonesian Air Force awaited new Rafales. Officials said the service would rely on upgrades and maintenance for existing aircraft.
