Description
A United States Air Force F-16C crashed west of Holloman Air Force Base during an approach. The Air Force said the pilot ejected with minor injuries and reported no injuries on the ground. Its investigation found that the aircraft departed controlled flight after landing configuration and that recovery attempts failed before ejection. The fighter was destroyed.
