Republic of Korea Air Force F-16C Damaged

A Republic of Korea Air Force KF-16 fighter went off the runway at the air base in Chungju, North Chungcheong province, at about 16:38 on 23 September 2025. The Air Force said the single-seat aircraft was preparing to take off for a training flight when the excursion occurred and that no casualties were reported. The service said it was assessing the extent of the damage and would set up an investigation committee to determine the cause. The KF-16 is South Korea's licence-built version of the F-16.
