German Navy P-8A Poseidon Delivered

The German Navy's first P-8A Poseidon, 63+01, arrived in Germany on 7 November 2025 after a transit flight from Boeing Field in Seattle with a stop at Keflavík, The Aviationist reported. It was received at Berlin Brandenburg Airport by the Defence Minister before flying on to Nordholz the same afternoon, where Naval Air Wing 3 is bringing the type into service to replace the retired P-3C Orion. Germany has eight P-8As on order, the original five having been increased in November 2023, with deliveries due to be completed by 2029.
