Indonesian Air Force T-50i Delivered

Indonesia's Air Force received two South Korean-built T-50i advanced jet trainers on 14 February 2026 as part of a six-aircraft procurement program. A Defence Ministry spokesman said the aircraft were delivered by air cargo from South Korea and taken to Iswahjudi Air Base in Madiun, East Java, where they were being assembled after arrival. The new jets will strengthen lead-in fighter training and light combat capability. Indonesia already operates earlier T-50 variants with the 15th Air Squadron at Iswahjudi, and the new batch is described as a further boost to national air defence and pilot training capacity.
