United States Navy T-45C Crash

A T-45C Goshawk assigned to Training Air Wing One (TW-1) at Naval Air Station Meridian crashed on private farmland in Noxubee County, Mississippi, at approximately 12:30 p.m. CDT on May 26, 2026. The aircraft is believed to have been assigned to VT-9 Tigers, based on ADS-B tracking data showing callsign BOBCT62. Both crew ejected safely prior to impact and were transported to a local medical center for evaluation. The cause of the mishap is under investigation by the Navy. This is the second U.S. military trainer lost in May 2026, following a T-38C crash in Alabama on May 12.
