Philippine Air Force S-70i Delivered

The last five S-70i Black Hawks of the Combat Utility Helicopter Phase 4 order arrived at Clark Air Base on 3 August aboard an Antonov Airlines An-124, completing a PHP 31.8 billion contract for 32 aircraft signed in December 2021. Two further airframes had reached the country by sea in July, and all seven were due to be inducted during August. The deliveries close out two consecutive Philippine orders totalling 48 helicopters built by PZL Mielec in Poland, making the Philippine Air Force the largest export operator of the type and giving it a fleet of 47 in service.
