Indonesian Navy C212 Damaged

A Puspenerbal NC-212-200 Aviocar of Air Squadron 600, Air Wing 2, ran off runway 03 at Sultan Hasanuddin Air Base in Makassar at about 11:21 local time on 25 August 2026. The right main landing gear tyre burst during the landing roll and the aircraft veered 26.2 metres off the paved surface. All three crew were unhurt. Ground teams replaced the tyre and towed the aircraft to the air base apron by mid-afternoon, with commercial traffic moved to the intersecting runway during the recovery. It was the second runway excursion at the airfield in two days, after an Indonesian Air Force Su-30MK2 overran the same airfield on 24 August.
