Russian Air Force Mi-24/35 Damaged

An Mi-35 attack helicopter was damaged on the apron at Taganrog-Central airfield in the Ukrainian drone raid of the night of 7-8 September, in which an Mi-8 parked nearby was destroyed. The assessment comes from satellite imagery published by open-source analysts and relayed by Militarnyi, Kyiv Post and United24 Media; no Russian statement addressed the aircraft, and the extent of the damage is unclear. The base, roughly 40 km from the Ukrainian border, houses the 325th Aircraft Repair Plant and has been among the most frequently struck Russian aviation sites of 2026.
