Description
The sixth and final Embraer A-29 Super Tucano ordered by Paraguay arrived at the Paraguayan Air Force's I Air Brigade at Luque, near Asunción, on 5 October 2026, completing the six-aircraft order signed in 2024 for about 105 million US dollars, according to the state news agency IP. The reception ceremony was led by President Santiago Peña, and the air force's first Cessna SkyCourier transport was presented alongside it. The first four Super Tucanos were delivered in June 2025 and the fifth in August 2026. The aircraft equip the Aerotactical Group for airspace control, including the interception of illicit flights.
