Description

Az Zaqaziq Air Base is an Egyptian Air Force installation located in the Sharqia Governorate, Egypt. Established in 1985, the facility is owned by the Ministry of Defense and has remained in continuous operation since its construction.

The base hosts the 129 Air Division’s 550 Air Wing, which comprises No. 51, No. 52, and No. 53 Squadrons. These units operate Boeing AH-64D Apache helicopters.
