Description
Meixian Air Base, also designated Meizhou Meixian Airport (IATA: MXZ, ICAO: ZGMX), is located in Meizhou, Guangdong province, China. The facility is also known as Meizhou Changgangji Airport, and carried the designation Meixian Changgangji Airport until 26 April 2019, when it was renamed. The airfield commenced operations on 1 September 1987.
The airport is connected to the Meizhou city bus network via routes 3 and 11, both running toward the city centre.
