Description
Shaoguan Danxia Airport, also known as Shaoguan Air Base, is a dual-use military and civil airport located in Guitou Town, Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, China. The air base was constructed in 1970. It briefly provided commercial flights from 1986 to 1989. An expansion project for the airport began prior to October 2017 and it officially reopened on November 27, 2021. The airport operates one runway, designated 15/33.
