Description
Ozuki Air Field, also designated Ozuki Air Base, is a military aerodrome located in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. The facility is operated by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
The installation supports Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force operations. Aircraft types documented at the airfield include the YS-11M-A. In September 2009, a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force YS-11M-A sustained substantial damage after overrunning the runway during a landing sequence.
