Overview
The Kenya Army, the ground component of the Kenya Defence Forces, is headquartered in Nairobi under the leadership of the Commander of the Kenya Army. Kenyan forces manage Sector 2 operations headquartered at Dhobley, conducting counter-insurgency actions and civil-military operations against Al-Shabaab.
