Moldova's Ministry of Defence said its monitoring system tracked unauthorised flights through national airspace on the morning of 3 October 2026, during Russian strikes on Ukraine, near Anenii Noi, Ștefan Vodă, Tudora and Căușeni. According to the National Army, three missiles and two drones exploded on the ground between about 07:45 and 08:00, near Crocmaz, Delacău, Puhăceni, Bozieni, Dubovca and Constantinovca, and a sixth object crossed near Palanca for about a minute. At Crocmaz a blast in a vineyard started a vegetation fire and broke the windows of a farm building; nobody was hurt. Police said the fragments resembled the Russian S8000 Banderol. President Maia Sandu said five Russian attack weapons had breached Moldovan airspace, and the foreign ministry summoned Russia's chargé d'affaires.
