United States Air Force MQ-9 Reaper Destroyed

An MQ-9 Reaper was destroyed on the ground at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base near Azraq, Jordan, during the Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack of 17-18 July 2026. The same strike damaged at least two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and an F-15E Strike Eagle. CENTCOM confirmed two US service members were killed and one remained missing, with around 29 wounded. It was the fourth Iranian attack against US forces in Jordan in five days, according to US officials cited by the New York Times.
