Description
The 23rd Air Base is a Polish Air Force installation located 6 km east of Mińsk Mazowiecki. Established on 1 January 2001, the base replaced the disbanded 1st Aviation Regiment "Warszawa." The 1st Air Tactical Squadron is the primary unit stationed at the facility. The base operates MiG-29 fighter aircraft.
