Description

Air Force Base Overberg is a South African Air Force installation located in Bredasdorp, within the Overberg district of the Western Cape province, South Africa. Operational command of the airbase is assigned to the Air Office in Pretoria, Gauteng.

The base hosts 525 Squadron and the Test Flight and Development Centre. Facilities at the airbase are also utilized by the Denel Overberg Test Range, and infrastructure at the location includes a Doppler radar tower.
