Description
Gebel el Basur Air Base is an Egyptian Air Force installation located north of Sadat City in the Monufia Governorate. The base is owned by the Ministry of Defense and serves as a station for elements of the 139 Air Division.
The facility hosts 82 Squadron, a component of the 252 Tactical Fighter Wing, which operates Dassault Mirage 2000 BM/EM aircraft. Also stationed at the base is 34 Squadron of the 203 Tactical Fighter Wing, which operates Dassault Rafale DM/EM aircraft.
