Description

Lida Air Base is located in Lida, Grodno Region, and is operated by the Air Force and Air Defence Forces of the Republic of Belarus. The facility hosts the 116th Guards Assault Aviation Base and the 206th Training Center for Aircrew.

The 116th Guards Assault Aviation Base operates Sukhoi Su-25 and Yak-130 aircraft. The 206th Training Center for Aircrew utilizes Aero L-39C Albatros aircraft for pilot training. In 2022, the 277th Bomber Aviation Regiment of the Russian Air Force deployed Sukhoi Su-24 aircraft to the base from Komsomolsk-on-Amur Airport during the invasion of Ukraine.
