Description

Loma Bonita 8th Air Force Station is located in the municipality of Loma Bonita, Oaxaca, 13 kilometers south of the city of Loma Bonita. The installation serves as the permanent headquarters for the 6th Motorized Cavalry Regiment, designated as "Centinelas del Papaloapan." While the site does not permanently house Mexican Air Force squadrons, it is utilized by air units for occasional operations. Infrastructure at the station includes an 8,100-square-meter aviation platform.
