Missamari Army Aviation Station (Missamari Airforce Station (older/OSM designation))

Missamari Army Aviation Station, also referred to as Missamari Airforce Station, is a military aviation facility located in the Sonitpur district of Assam, India. The installation is situated on the Tezpur–Bomdila–Tawang–Bum La axis, 250 kilometers from the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. The site functions as a helipad and Advanced Landing Ground (ALG). While the underlying airstrip predates current operations, the base in its present configuration was established in March 2021 with the raising of a resident Army Aviation Brigade.

The facility is operated by the Indian Army Aviation Corps. The resident Army Aviation Brigade oversees three stationed units: the 206 Army Aviation Squadron, the 351 Army Aviation Squadron, and the 667 Army Aviation Squadron. The 206 Army Aviation Squadron operates HAL Dhruv helicopters. The 351 Army Aviation Squadron operates HAL Prachand Light Combat Helicopters; established at the station in 2022, this unit is the Indian Army's first Light Combat Helicopter squadron.
