Description

Siemirowice Naval Air Base, also known as Lotnisko Cewice, is an active military installation located in Poland. Construction of the facility took place between 1950 and 1956. It was established in 1956 to replace the closed Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz airfield.

The base is operated by the Polish Naval Aviation and hosts the 44 Baza Lotnictwa Morskiego "Kaszubsko-Darłowska" (44th Naval Aviation Base). The aviation brigade manages operations at both Siemirowice and the Darłowo airfield as a single unit.

Siemirowice hosts AW101 Merlin helicopters assigned to the 44th Naval Aviation Base. In practice, a portion of these aircraft operate from the Darłowo detachment rather than Siemirowice.
