Tulum Naval Air Base (Base Aeronaval de Tulum / Estación Aeronaval Tulum)

Tulum Naval Air Base, also known as Base Aeronaval de Tulum or Estación Aeronaval Tulum, is an active military installation located in the municipality of Tulum in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The site is situated in the eastern part of the country, approximately 1,200 kilometers east of Mexico City and 3.1 kilometers northeast of the settlement of Tulum, near the southeastern coastline. The surrounding terrain is predominantly flat.

The base is operated by Mexican Naval Aviation under the Secretariat of the Navy (Secretaría de Marina, or SEMAR). The facility was established as an exclusive naval air station on 22 February 1987, when the Quintana Roo state government transferred the site to the Secretaría de Marina. The installation has remained closed to civil traffic since the transfer. Tulum Naval Air Base operates entirely separately from the newer Tulum International Airport.
