Three unidentified drones were detected flying close to Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base, the largest NATO installation in Romania and a hub for allied deployments on the Black Sea. Assessed as small commercial types rather than military machines, they were brought down with electronic warfare equipment, though no wreckage was recovered. Another similar drone appeared near the base the following day. The military prosecutor's office opened an investigation.
